WILMINGTON, Del.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
The Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: TBBK) (“the Company”) today announced that it
received a letter from the NASDAQ Stock Market LLC (“Nasdaq”) advising
the Company that because it had not yet filed its Quarterly Report on
Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 (the “Second Quarter
10-Q”) and has remained delinquent in filing its Annual Report on Form
10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2014 (the “Form 10-K”) and
its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31, 2015
(the “First Quarter 10-Q” and together with the Second Quarter 10-Q, the
“Forms 10-Q”), the Company was not in compliance with Nasdaq’s Listing
Rule 5250(c)(1).
Previous notices of non-compliance from Nasdaq with respect to the Form
10-K and First Quarter 10-Q were discussed in the Company’s Current
Reports on Form 8-K filed April 1, 2015, May 11, 2015 and June 26, 2015.

(the “August 8-K”). On August 14, 2015 the Company submitted to Nasdaq
its plan to regain compliance, which covered the Form 10-K and the Forms
10-Q. As set forth in the plan, the Company expects to file the Form
10-K and the Forms 10-Q on or before September 8, 2015, and thereby
regain compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5250(c)(1).
