TheBancorp.com (www.thebancorp.com), the financial services Internet company providing online banking services to affinity groups, today announced a key partnership alliance with Mail Boxes Etc. (MBE), the world's largest retail business, communications and postal services franchisor. Through TheBancorp.com agreement with MBE, TheBancorp.com will further expand its customer service by offering a deposit strategy through retail locations. This fall, customers of TheBancorp.com and any of its affinity banks will be able to walk into most of MBE's 3,400 U.S. locations and overnight their deposits free of charge.

Soon any customer of TheBancorp.com and its affinity banks can walk into an MBE location and request a deposit be mailed either by UPS 2nd day air or overnight to TheBancorp.com. MBE will process the order and issue a UPS tracking number so that the shipment can be tracked online at any of TheBancorp.com banking web sites or through the MBE web site. This service is provided at no cost to the customer.
